The application of the Long Island railroad for an injunction restraining the authorities of Long Island City from interfering with its new system of wells and mains to its depot at Borden avenue, was granted Monday by Justice Gaynor. The court says:
"No reason is assigned why it is not a lawful thing for the company to supply itself with water, and why it may not lawfully lay pipes along its road or right of way."
