In the Hands of a Receiver

New York, 1895

The Long Island and New London steamboat company has gone into voluntary liquidation, Capt. Samuel Griffin being made temporary receiver. The company owns the steel steamer Long Island, which runs between Sag Harbor, Greenport, and New London. The Long Island was built two years ago at a cost of $60,000.
