New York, 1895
Orders have been sent from the board of city works of Brooklyn to the superintendents in charge of the pumping station on the old Rockaway road and the Springfield station on the South Side road, that both stations will be closed up on the first of the month for an indefinite period. It is also rumored that the Baisley station will be closed down at the same time.
