Judge Garretson rid the county of a number of criminals Tuesday afternoon by imposing the following sentences: Frank Wells, grand larceny, four years and six months in Sing Sing; Charles Miller, burglary, three years and six months; Henry Eckert, burglary, ten years at hard labor; Joseph Morkhuas, assault, six years and six months; Frank Gordon, grand larceny, two years; Alson S. Conklin, colored, assault, four years six months; Michael Scanlan, attempted assault, six years and seven months; Fred S. Allen, real estate agent, larceny, two years; Frank Lamberti, assault, four years and six months. James Walter Byard, a colored boy, admitted stealing $20 in Jamaica, and was committed to the county jail for six months.
