Sandeveer's Shortage Made Good

New York, 1895

James Sandeveer, former clerk of the board of health of Newtown, who decamped for parts unknown, leaving a shortage in his account of about $750, has returned to his home in Woodside. Alex Burns, one of his bondsmen, has sent to Supervisor Siebs a check for $741.07, this being the amount due the town.
