New York, 1895
The women who conceived the idea of building a Lyceum have not had long to wait for the fruition of their hopes. William Hardenbrook has generously offered to erect for them such a hall as they may deem necessary, and to deed it to them on terms that cannot but be accounted liberal. There is need of such a building, for the Town Hall is not safe.
