New York, 1895
No cars have been run regularly on the Brooklyn and Jamaica line for the past eighteen days, owing to the strike, except Monday afternoon when two cars were run to Jamaica. Wires were cut between Cypress Hills and the old power house. Wednesday afternoon four cars were run from East New York to Jamaica. Upon their return the wires were again cut at Richmond Hill and it was late in the evening before they were repaired.
