The committee clerkship in the assembly, made vacant through the sudden demise of Jacob W. Titus, of Glen Cove, has been filled by the appointment of Morton Cromwell, an active Republican of Glen Cove. The selection was made on the recommendation of Assemblyman Vacheron.
