The Hon. Richard C. McCormick is not directly, indirectly or remotely responsible for anything that appears in the Jamaica Standard. He abandoned the paper before it entered on a criminal career and took the pains to notify his friends of the fact. William J. Youngs is the paper's backer now. All the money he can make at Albany will not keep it alive.
