New York, 1895
Raffaelo Ungaro, an Italian contractor of Corona, was arrested in New York on Monday. He was pointed out to the policeman by Patrick Farrar who said that Ungaro was wanted in Lenox, Mass., for shooting and killing two men last September. Later Ungaro was arraigned in the Tombs Police Court, and was remanded until the Lenox police could be heard from.
Selling Liquor Without a License
John Schroeder, of Glenwood Landing, has been arrested for selling liquor without a license. He will be tried before Justice Billings, at Glen Cove, Saturday. The complainant is Mrs. Charles Hall.
