The highway commissioners of Jamaica held a meeting at the Town Hall on Tuesday. Commissioner Wolff presided. The estimated amount of money required for road purposes during the year for road district No. 2 not being known, action was deferred until the next meeting.
John C. Hendrickson of Queens made complaint of the condition of the Jamaica and Hempstead Plank road.
The cost for opening roads blocked by snow during the month of February was $483.19.
