Long Island Railroad Extension

New York, 1895

The Long Island railroad company has awarded a contract for the building of an extension to the Montauk division of the road as far east as Amagansett. The new road will branch off at Bridgehampton. The contract specifies that the work must be completed by May 1, which will be in ample time for its use on the summer time table.
