Flushing Live Bird Championship

New York, 1895

The 100-bird match between L. T. Davenport and George Roberts was to have been shot on the grounds of the Flushing gun club on Tuesday but was indefinitely postponed. The club, however, has issued circulars for its open fifty-bird handicap event, which is called The Flushing Championship," for January 17. The event is open to members of all recognized sporting clubs.
