Rapid Transit to Long Island City

New York, 1895

It is learned from a trustworthy source that the proposed rapid transit service on the Long Island railroad between Jamaica and Long Island City will surely be established and that the fare for the round trip will not exceed 25 cents. It is expected that the service will begin not later than February 1, and possibly the last week in this month.
